PlayStation Vita Price Cut Possible By 2013

The PlayStation Vita could be getting a price cut next year, hints SCEU head Fergal Gara.

In an interview by Eurogamer, Gara was asked what was his thinking about the subject. Gara replied: "We always aim to establish price cuts. So the question is not so much if, but when". He also said that there won't be any price cut happening this year, and that their retail partners are working very hard to make attractive bundles such as the Wi-Fi Vita plus LittleBigPlanet.

Eurogamer made a follow-up question if the price cut will have to wait next year and Gara replied "yes".

The PlayStation Vita first came out in February 2011 with a price tag of $249 for the Wi-Fi only version and $349.99 for the 3G + Wi-Fi model. How much do you think Sony would slice if a price cut happens?
