Japanese manga magazine Corocoro has leaked some new information about Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Some scans of the latest issue have also circulated around the net.
First off, just like in Pokemon X and Y, a special item called Mega Bangle allows certain Pokemon in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire allows them enter Mega Evolution.
The currently revealed Pokemon with Mega Evolution type are Mega Sceptile which is a Grass/Dragon-type with lightning rod ability, Mega Swampert which is a Water/Ground type with Swift Swim ability and finally Mega Diancie which is a Rock/Fairy type whose ability is currently unknown.
Groudon and Kyogre also have a special transformation called Ancient Devolution and in this state, they become Primal/Prehistoric/Primeval Groudon and Kyogre.
Steven Stone will make a return in the game and he's searching for the secrets of Mega Evolution. He also comes with a Mega Charizard X.
Depending on which game you choose, you could be facing Team Aqua & Team Magma. Some redesign has been done on the characters of each team's respective team leaders. The main character design has also been altered from Emerald.
In Pokemon X and Y as well as other Pokemon games, there is only one type of bicycle. However, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald had two which are the Mach and Acro Bikes. Both bikes make a return to Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
