Nintendo 3DS Price Drop

Nintendo 3DS
I'm not happy Bob... Not... Happy... Because I was one of the early adopters of the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS is getting a price drop in the US and Japan.

In Japan, the 3DS will get a drop from ¥25,000 to ¥10,000. In North America, the price will drop from $249.99 to $169.99. There is no guarantee that the price drop will be reflected here in the Philippines but I bought mine for about for Php 13,500 or $293.00.

I'm mad! I'm really mad! But, oh wait! What's this? Nintendo is implementing this so-called ambassador program and early adopters (i.e. me and you probably) are automatically joined! So what this gives us proud Nintendo 3DS owners is 10 FREE NES Games and 10 FREE Game Boy Advance Games which  makes 20 FREE games from Nintendo all in all!

Be sure to log-in once before August 11 to be eligible for the ambassador program. This is good enough for me since I don't have a lot of other 3DS games to buy at the moment and I wanted to buy from the Nintendo eShop. Unfortunately, I need a 3DS prepaid card in order to buy. The 3DS price drop starts August 12 for North America.

  1. What sucks is that the Philippines isn't even affected by the price cut yet! :( People who buy the DS will end up paying the old price AND not get the free games. Discountplox?
