Epic Mickey 3DS Screenshots & Info... It is 16-Bit...

Disney wasn't lying when they said that Epic Mickey for 3DS will use 16-Bit graphics. Take a look at these screenshots and judge whether they will make you excited or disappointed.

As previously rumored, Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion will pay homage to its SEGA Megadrive ancestor called Castle Of Illusion.

A little bit more about the game. Disney said that "Reality is What You Paint of It" basically making what you draw and paint "magically transform into classic Disney-style 2D illustrations". They further add that what you create on the bottom screen can be moved to the top screen and be  "transformed into full-color, fully-rendered 3D visuals".

As with the settings, since this is a tribute to the Castle of Illusion game, it's no wonder that the game  is set in the Castle of Illusion! Disney describes the castle as "an alternate world filled with 80 years of forgotten Disney characters and theme park attractions" and not only forgotten Disney characters but also forgotten video games. The main villain is a witch named Mizrabel, the same villain from the old game.

We're sure that this would look great in 3D as most 2D style games looked good. We'd like to know if you're getting the game once it comes out. Are you anticipating this as a retail release or an eShop release? Your thoughts matter!
