Shin Megami Tensei IV Screenshots + More Details

Shin Megami Tensei IV Screenshots
Atlus greets our December (this was reported November though) with some new Shin Megami Tensei IV screenshots featuring the city of Tokyo having been overrun by demons as well as a few more details about the battle system, story, character, and enemies (demons).

As with other the previous Shin Megami Tensei games, the ability to invite demons to your party still exists. You can also still fuse demons in order to form more powerful ones.

The random encounter system has been replaced by what they call the "symbol encounter system".  Enemies are on the field and you can gain certain advantage against them if you strike them — you get the first attack. The "Press Turn battle" system from Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne has also been added in the game which gives additional turn to the player if he manages to exploit the enemy's weakness.

The protagonist is an 18-year-old boy living in East Mikaido. The boy had a dream as if some sort of divine revelation. He gets to join and become a Samurai during the "Gauntlet Ceremony". The gauntlets that these group Samurai wear have built-in summoning programs.
