Ys: Memories Of Celceta Coming To Vita This Fall

Ys: Memories Of Celceta (PS Vita)
Ys: Memories Of Celceta will be coming to the US this fall with Xseed publishing the game. This time however, Adol won't be traveling with Dogi and he's on a journey to restore his memory.

The game which was called "Ys Celceta: Sea of Trees" was released in Japan in September 2012. The game is said to be a re-imagining of Ys IV, just as Oath in Felghana is a re-imagining of Ys III.

The PlayStation Vita's high specs allowed the developers (Falcom) to put more enemies on the screen, more than they have with Ys Seven.

While Ys IV was originally developed by Hudson, Falcom is based the story off some documents that Ys IV was based on. The absence of Dogi was in fact needed in order for Falcom to build a story on Ado's lost memory. Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo told Siliconera before, "We knew that with Adol not having any memories if Dogi was there from the start, Dogi would just tell him everything and his memories would instantly come back.".

In the game, Adol will meet with other characters such as Riesa (a 16-year-old girl), Gadis (who calls himself a beastmaster), and Griselda (a 29-year-old governor). Adol will also be partnering with other characters such as Cama, and Dulen. Adol's partners are key to opening new routes in the game.

Ys: Memories Of Celceta will also feature magical tools that will help Adol and his friends on their journey such as the Dwarf Bracelet, Wind Boots, and the Holy Beast Choker. The game will also have a day and night system which will influence the events within the game.
