Code of Princess developer and publisher Agatsuma Entertainment is bringing over a sequel to the hook-shooting and swinging game that was released back in 1994 for the Super Famicom, Sayonara Umihara Kawase.
The game features a girl hero, and it's basically a platforming game. You can shoot a hookshot on walls and ceilings to get you across platforms and pass obstacles by swinging like a pendulum. There also seems to be a lure system, which seems required before you can capture some enemies.
It also looks like there will be additional characters as well as unlockable costumes, sound and image gallery when you complete a levels.
The game will be released around Summer of 2013 for 4980 yen. There's nothing mentioned about a Western release so far, but Agatsuma released Code of Princess before. So for now, let's remain optimistic.
Thanks to Tiny Cartridge and Famitsu.
