The game is based on a french/japanese animated series that was aired back in the 80's. The game will allow players to switch between characters Esteban, Zia and Tao whom are the three of four main casts of the animated series. The game will also be played on a top-down perspective.
While we don't know much about the game, the original plot happens in 1532. A Spanish orphan joins a navigator and his associates in search for The Seven Cities of Gold in the New World. Along the way, they will encounter many technological wonders as well as old civilizations.
The Mysterious Cities of Gold is scheduled for release this fall.
