DanganRonpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is the same game was previously released on the PSP (Dangan-Ronpa), but was never released outside of Japan. The new game will be a PlayStation Vita-exclusive, and will be "revised and revamped".
The game revolves around a student named Makoto Naegi and his classmates. They find themselves imprisoned in a school, and at the mercy of a murderous little bear name Monokuma.
Monokuma pits the students against each other. He makes a clever promise of freedom to those who can murder their classmates, but gets away with it.
The gameplay involves investigating each murder incidents by searching for clues, and talking to your classmates. There will also be a mock trial wherein Monokuma himself serve as the judge, the jury and executor. You'll also have to sway your classmates to your side in order for them to cooperate in your investigation.
The game is under development by Spike Chunsoft and slated for release in Japan in October.
