Team 17 Digital Ltd has announced that Worms Revolution Extreme will be coming to the PlayStation Vita on October 8th and will be priced at $14.99.
Worms Revolution Extreme for the PlayStation Vita will feature a single player campaign with 72 levels in total with the levels being a mixture of missions and puzzles. The levels are also set across different environmental themes such as Sewer, Farmyard, Spooky, Beach, Mars, Funfair, and Medieval.
The game will also support local and online multiplayer battles of up to four players. There will be different game modes such as Deathmatch, Forts, or Classic.
Of course, one of the reasons to get the Vita version is the touchscreens support. Worms Revolution Extreme for the Vita will to select items and pan/zoom the camera using the Vita's front touch screen. The Vita version can also be crossed-played and cross-saved with the PS3 version.
