There is quite a small number of 3DS games that support download play including Mario Kart 7, Luigi's Mansion and Super Street Fighter 4 3D. Well, the recently released virtual console game, Double Dragon adds to the short list.
The game supports up to 2-player download play which means that you only have to purchase the game once on one 3DS, and another 3DS player who doesn't have the game can join you.
Double Dragon which was originally released for the NES costs $4.99. The game stars Billy Lee, a martial arts expert whose girlfriend has been kidnapped by a group called "Black Warriors". They demand to know the secret behind Billy's martial-arts but Billy just won't give in and decides to rescue his girlfriend himself.
