Valhalla Knights 3 For Vita Gets Japan Release Date

Valhalla Knights 3 is a sequel to the PSP RPG series, Valhalla Knights. It finally gets a release date in Japan and will be coming on January 31st, 2013.

The battle system involves a seamless transition between field and battle scenes. According to Gematsu, the game features a "Groping System" where players can reclaim gold and items from defeated enemies. Once you've gathered 7 characters, you can challenge other players on a 7 against 7 fight through ad-hoc connectivity.

Valhalla Knights 3 features 7 different races which includes Human, Elf, Hobbit, Dwarf, Nightmare, Machine, and Beast. Your character will follow the path of a person from a far away land in search for a legendary treasure left by a criminal charged with treason. As with the old games, you can take on different story quests.

The game also allows you to recruit characters from the red light district which basically involves paying money, making a girl feel good about you, completing a quest, and then finally raising the girl's affection until she joins you. Launch copies of the game comes with a code to redeem the Butterfly of the Night takeout pack which essentially adds additional characters in the red light district.

Valhalla Knights 3 is being developed by K2 and will be published by Marvelous AQL.
