Terraria Announced For PlayStation Vita

Terraria Announced For PlayStation Vita
Terraria will be coming over to the PlayStation Vita this summer. The port is being developed by Engine Software and published by 505 Games.

Terraria was originally released for the PC by Re-logic studio. The game gives emphasis on side-scrolling, action-adventure gaming while allowing players to do crafting and digging underground. It basically allows you to shape your own world to explore.

According to Tim Woodley, Head of Global Brand at 505 Games, one of the challenges they face is giving the players the control they need to fully enjoy the game. "We're all huge fans of Terraria and have been overwhelmed by the support we've received from the existing community since we began working with the property. And it's been amazing to see how many of those fans have been asking for a portable version of Terraria so they can take their adventures with them on the go. The biggest challenge for us is how to give players the control they need to fully enjoy the experience and we're really excited to explore the potential of the multiple input options that the PlayStation Vita affords us."

Terraria has just been released on the PS3 and XBox 360 platforms a few days ago. Pricing and release date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for more updates about this game.
