It seems like the game that SEGA was teasing about is actually a football/soccer team management simulation game and it's called Sakatsuku: Let's Make a Pro Soccer Club.
The game will feature both cross-play and cross-save between the PS3 and PS Vita platforms. You will be managing a team competing for the J League (Japanese national football league).
The last Sakatsuku installment came out in 2007 for the PlayStation 2. The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita installment will feature HD graphics and realistic turf pitch, breathing and even sweating of the players.
Being a football simulation game doesn't mean you have to watch the whole football match. The game will allow you to skip all the scenes and complete the match in an instant.
You can check the game's official site here.
