The game will be set in the same world as the first game. Nintendo made it clear that this isn't simply a remake, but a sequel. If we're going to base on Nintendo Life's first impression of the game, it seems like the new Zelda 3DS game will utilize the physical controls a lot.
Although the game seems to follow the classic isometric camera view, the gameplay video below shows some scenes where the camera slightly moves a little bit on a different angle. We wouldn't be surprised if this game is being built with the 3D in mind just like Super Mario 3D Land and Castlevania: Lords of Shadows - Mirror of Fate.
We can also see in the off-screen video above that Link uses a hammer and a few nifty skills never-before seen in any Zelda game such as the Merge ability.
The new Zelda for the Nintendo 3DS, sequel to A Link to the Past will be coming this Holiday season.
