The game ties-in with the animated TV show to be aired on Disney XD this year, and will follow the same storyline. Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures is an action adventure featuring three teenage characters: Pac-Man, Spiral and Cylindria, who work together to keep the world safe. One day, menacing ghosts escaped from the Netherworld and invaded the PacWorld. It's up to Pac and his friends to rid the PacWorld of these trouble-making Ghosts and Ghouls.
While we doubt that these are taken from the 3DS version, Namco Bandai shared some screenshots and the first trailer of the game.
Pac-Man And The Ghostly Adventures is set for release this Fall. The game has been created and produced by Avi Arad, acclaimed director and founder of Marvel Studios. You can check on the game's official site here.
