The Starship Damrey Coming To 3DS eShop This May

The first of three Guild02 titles, Starship Damrey, is coming to the North American Nintendo eShop this May.

Starship Damrey is set in space. The character awakes from a cold sleep capsule, with no knowledge of the surroundings and totally disoriented about what's happening. No hints or tutorial is given to the player. Self-discovery and experimentation is an integral part of the game experience. The game is described as an adventure/horror/suspense game.

If you've played games like 999 and Virtue's Last Reward, you'd be glad to know that the person who's directing this game (Kazuya Asano) is the same director that inspired those games. 999 and Virtue's Last Reward writer and director Kōtarō Uchikoshi noted that Kazuya Asano's "The Night of the Sickle Weasel", which is also a visual novel game released for the SNES,  inspired his work.

Starship Damrey will be coming on May 16th while the other two other Guild02 games, Bugs vs. Tanks! and Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale will be following up in the future.
