Well what can we say but a big YEHEY! Finally, customers can avoid wasting money and buy the games they really want to buy or support.
According to Tony Elison (NOA Senior Director and General Manager, "The demo program allows Nintendo 3DS players to be among the first to test-drive select games. Players can try out new genres or series, often weeks before the full versions are available in stores.".
The initial list of games that will be released for demo are:
- Resident Evil Revelations (first one we get)
- Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games (Jan. 26)
Other demos will be following soon such as
- Rayman Origins
- METAL GEAR SOLID Snake Eater 3D
- Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure
We're not sure about the US eShop but the Japanese demos were limited to a 30-play-limit. Well, they have to make you buy the game and not be satisfied with a demo.
