Super Mario AR Photo Cards To Be Bundled With eShop Prepaid Cards In Japan

Here's Nintendo's plan to lure you into buying more digital download games. Super Mario-printed Nintendo eShop prepaid cards which also acts as AR cards for a special app.

As you might have guessed, this is currently only available in Japan. The app which is called "Photo Together with Super Mario" lets you take photos with characters from the Mushroom Kingdom.

Different denominations equal different characters that you can get. For example, the 1,000 yen card gives you a goomba card, a Super Mario Card and a Princess Peach card for the 2,000 and 3,000 denominations respectively.

Putting together the AR cards make the characters interact with each other. More characters such as Koopa Troopa, , Luigi and Bowser will be released in the future.
