3D Sonic the Hedgehog Coming To Nintendo 3DS eShop In Japan

SEGA announced that they will be releasing a remake of the classic Sonic the Hedgehog title for the Nintendo 3DS. This time, the game will have stereoscopic 3D support (thus called 3D Sonic the Hedgehog) as well as some new moves introduced in later games such as his Spin Dash move and Homing Attack.

The game will also have a save function as well as button customization, allowing you to personalize the inputs.

Aside from having the 3D effect, it will also be possible to customize the screen to mimic the appearance of a classic CRT (cathode-ray tube) TV. It also looks like players can choose between two sound types.

3D Sonic the Hedgehog will be coming to the Japanese eShop on May 15th for 600 yen.
