Lone Survivor was originally released for the PC last year by indie developer Jasper Byrne. Curve Studios believe that they have created the definitive version of the game with the Vita and PS3 versions.
The game is described to be a Psychological Survival Adventure bearing the hallmarks of classic survival horror games.
From the PC version, the game received boosts like lighting improvements, new items, new endings, and new game locations. Vita version will also have touch support.
Lone Survivor: The Director’s Cut will be available as a Cross Buy title with cross-platform save support. PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to purchase the game at a discount.
