Princess Peach's confirmation as a playable character was confirmed with the latest screenshots released on the game's official site. On the site's announcement, Peach is described to be a "veteran fighter".
Peach joins the 14 characters revealed so far making her the 15th character to be revealed. There are three more boxes in the roster that is yet to be revealed.
Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U is scheduled for release in 2014.
