If you're a fan of sidescrolling shooters and you own a 3D, you'll get another one because a 3D remake of Steel Empire is on the way!
Steel Empire first came out on the SEGA Genesis back in 1992. A Game Boy Advance version also came out back in 2004.
Starfish, the makers of Elminage and the same developer who worked on the GBA version is working on the port. The game will feature an improved graphics, re-balanced difficulty, and of course stereoscopic 3D support.
Steel Empire is slated for release in Japan this December.
