PlayStation Vita TV Announced

PlayStation Vita TV
When you thought you'll only need a cable to play your Vita games on your TV, Sony has made it a little bit more sophisticated for you. Behold, the PlayStation Vita TV!

During Sony's press conference held in Japan yesterday, they revealed a $100 box (or more accurately 9,980 yen) that could play all your Vita games as well as your downloaded PSP and PsOne games.

The PS Vita TV measures at 65.0 × 105.0 × 13.6 mm (length, width, height) and weighs at approximately 110g. You plug it to your TV and with a DualShock 3 controller, you can play PlayStation Vita games on your TV! Only two DualShock 3 controllers are supported though.

The device will feature a standby mode (much like your Vita huh), so you can halt your game and come back to it later.

The PS Vita TV also supports remote play, making it possible to stream PS4 games on this device. As for the resolution PlayStation TV supports 720p, 1080i, and 480p resolutions.

The PlayStation Vita TV will be released on November 14th for 9,954 yen in Japan.
