The Amazing Spider-Man's PS3 version which was created by Activision is set to get a PS Vita port.
The Amazing Spider-Man features a new and original story, taking place after the events of the movie. The game features free-roaming over the isle of Manhattan, and will maintain the same spirit as the console version.
The Vita version of The Amazing Spider-Man will utilize the Vita's touch function with Peter Parker’s smartphone. There will be a pinch-and-zoom support, allowing easy navigation using a mini-map. Players will also be able to drag around the map, set waypoints and track bearings as you would with a real smartphone map app.
The gyro functions will also be put to use by letting players take front-page photos; aiming, zooming the device like a real camera.
The Amazing Spider-Man for PS Vita is slated for release on November 19th in North America for $39.99.
