Arrowhead Games's top-down shooter is coming to PS4, PS3, and PS Vita this Summer.
Helldivers uses two analog sticks to move and aim. The game also heavily relies on teamwork and have the friendly fire always turned on.
Each player in the squad is equipped with a primary weapon, sidearm, and grenades. There are abilities called Strategems that allow you to call for support like ammo drop, auto turret placement, or replacement troops for fallen allies. Strategems are activated with a press of a button (L1 on Dualshock 4) combined with a series of DPad presses.
Looks like Arrowhead is planning to have cross-play support between the three versions.
