Nintendo's very own Flipnote Studio 3D will be making its way to Nintendo's North American eShop this coming August. Flipnote lets users make hand-drawn animations, and supports both local and Internet play.
The app itself is free, but offers two types of community service. With Flipnote Gallery: Friends, players will be able to share their creations with their friends for free. Flipnote Gallery: World is essentially the paid version. allows you to share and interact with other users, and will cost $0.99 for 30 days.

Flipnote Gallery: Friends Features
- You can create an online gallery and invite your friends to visit and participate.
- Up to 20 people, including you, can participate in each gallery.
- You can post comments, rate flipnotes and download your favorite flipnotes to your Nintendo 3DS.
- You can have up to two galleries open at any given time. Each gallery will be available for 15 days. When one closes, you can open another.
Flipnote Gallery: World Features
- Paid but becomes free from 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m "according to Current Time info in System Settings of Nintendo 3DS".

- Download your favorite flipnotes
- Get a certain number of coins when you buy a pass
