Deception IV: Blood Ties will be coming to the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita on February 27, 2014 in Japan and around the same window for North America and Europe. Check out some details about the game's story as well as some screenshots and trailers.
The story revolves around a character named Regurina, who is the devil's daughter. Her cause is to kill the 12 saints that sealed her father. She has the ability of the three mediums which are physical manifestations of the notion of Splendor, Cruelty, and Disgrace. With the three mediums, Regurina can summon traps to be used as weapons.
About her father, he was actually a demon that ruled the world with fear. The demon was eventually sealed away by the joint force of humanity and the 12 saints whom had the power from heaven. A book called Seigon contained the sealing curse, and it was divided into several pieces among the 12 saints.
After 3000 years, the demon found about the whereabouts of the descendants of the 12 saints and sent his daughter, Regurina, to gather the pieces and break the seal.
Deception IV: Blood Ties is the 4th installment in Tecmo's Deception series that started on the PSOne as "Tecmo's Deception: Invitation to Darkness". It's a sequel to Kagero II: Dark Illusion which was also known as "Trapt".
